Introducing Dr. Scott Conard
MediGuide is honoured to welcome Dr. Scott Conard, MD, DABFP, FAAFM, as our new Chief Medical Officer. With a distinguished career at the intersection of clinical medicine, advanced analytics, and business strategy, Dr. Conard has consistently championed solutions that bridge gaps in healthcare and decision-making. His experience enriches MediGuide’s medical second opinion service – helping industries connect their members with trusted medical experts, empowering informed decisions when it matters most.

Innovation and transformation:
Dr. Conard’s career is a testament to healthcare innovation and transformation:
- Solo practitioner to leadership in value-based care. Starting as a solo practitioner, over 20 years he grew his practice into a group of over 510 clinicians. This evolved into a value-based integrated delivery network (IDN) that significantly reduced care costs through prevention and proactive management.
- Healthcare innovator. After his practice was acquired by a hospital system, Dr. Conrad became Chief Medical Officer for a brokerage and consulting firm. In this role, he led an innovation lab focused on effective health risk reduction interventions.
- Driving analytics-driven solutions. Currently, as co-founder of Converging Health LLC, Dr. Conrad collaborates with self-insured corporations, medical groups, accountable care organizations (ACOs), and insurance captives. His work focuses on improving wellbeing, reducing costs, and enhancing member experiences through data advanced data analytics and technology-driven solutions.
His advisory role coincides with a new chapter of growth and innovation for MediGuide as we continue to expand our global impact for patients and organizations alike. With his extensive expertise, he will help ensure that MediGuide maintains the clinical quality and operational integrity that define our medical second opinion and related services. As we look ahead to 2025, MediGuide remains dedicated to delivering world-class healthcare solutions globally, offering comprehensive second opinions and expert treatment guidance.
